Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Giblin has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases.
The Class of 2017 AUC School of Medicine graduate remembers being on a night shift in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) back in March when she encountered her first patient with the novel coronavirus—a 19-year-old female.
Melody Santos has never been a “jumper,” as she puts it—the type of person who can’t contain their excitement after hearing good news. The exception, of course, was when she found out she matched into her first-choice residency program.
AUC is proud to recognize the following AUC graduates who have been named chief residents and fellows for the 2020-2021 year.
New graduates donned their regalia, posed for photos, and recited the Physician’s Oath during AUC’s Virtual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 16.
“I remember texting my girlfriend, ‘I think I’ve fallen in love with a new specialty,’” says Dr. Akadiri, a Class of 2020 AUC graduate.
Leading infectious disease specialist and Class of 2007 alumna Dr. Angela Branche will be the keynote speaker for AUC's Virtual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 16.
