Fifty years ago, the percentage of MD graduates who were women hovered around just 10% in the United States, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Melody Santos has never been a “jumper,” as she puts it—the type of person who can’t contain their excitement after hearing good news. The exception, of course, was when she found out she matched into her first-choice residency program.
AUC is proud to recognize the following AUC graduates who have been named chief residents and fellows for the 2020-2021 year.
