American University of the Caribbean (AUC)’s long-standing Community Action Day is a celebration of service, learning, and community collaboration.
Despite AUC graduates' past success, Daniel Judelson knew how competitive the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) could be for an international medical graduate—and he wasn’t taking any chances.
More than 50 AUC students volunteered at the Lion Rudy Hoeve Health and Wellness Fair last weekend, one of the largest and most widely attended health fairs in St. Maarten. AUC has held a strong presence at the annual event over the past three years and this year was no different.
Dave Remias and Monica Tran met at AUC in 2005. A decade later, they returned to campus and got engaged.
A feature article published in STAT News suggests that international medical graduates (IMGs) from schools like AUC “just might help solve an urgent physician shortage in California and beyond.”
In honor of Black History Month, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) recognized Dr. Natacha Pierre and other change makers who are working to address disparities in breastfeeding for people of color.
