Community Action Day: Deepening Community Bonds and Fostering Future Health Care Leaders
American University of the Caribbean (AUC)’s long-standing Community Action Day is a celebration of service, learning, and community collaboration.
The Class of 2017 AUC School of Medicine graduate remembers being on a night shift in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) back in March when she encountered her first patient with the novel coronavirus—a 19-year-old female.
More than 100 students celebrated the official start to their medical careers at AUC’s Virtual White Coat Ceremony on Friday, June 5, broadcast on Facebook, YouTube, and Zoom.
