Community Action Day: Deepening Community Bonds and Fostering Future Health Care Leaders
American University of the Caribbean (AUC)’s long-standing Community Action Day is a celebration of service, learning, and community collaboration.
Executive Dean, Dr. Heidi Chumley, and Chief Academic Officer and Senior Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Julie Taylor, recently delivered a talk at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s (STFM) Annual Spring Conference in Washington, DC.
Students who participated in AUC’s Community Action Day at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) were recently honored for their volunteer work in Preston.
AUC celebrated new students of the May 2022 Class during a White Coat Ceremony on Monday, May 7. Faculty members bestowed news students with their very first white coat--a symbol of their future profession in medicine.
