Community Action Day: Deepening Community Bonds and Fostering Future Health Care Leaders
<p>American University of the Caribbean (AUC)’s long-standing Community Action Day is so much more than just a fun event; it is a testament to our deep commitment to engaging holistically with the development of our medical students.
A new article in MD Magazine highlights the important role international medical schools like AUC play in supplying quality physicians to the U.S. healthcare system.
Leaders from academia, medicine, government, and non-profit and public health organizations convened to discuss priority issues facing breastfeeding medicine.
Through this program, a small group of medical sciences students will be selected to share their story and experiences with our growing network.
AUC graduates celebrated their commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 19 at the University of Miami Watsco Center in Miami, Florida
Executive Dean, Dr. Heidi Chumley, and Chief Academic Officer and Senior Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Julie Taylor, recently delivered a talk at the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s (STFM) Annual Spring Conference in Washington, DC.
