Community Action Day: Deepening Community Bonds and Fostering Future Health Care Leaders
<p>American University of the Caribbean (AUC)’s long-standing Community Action Day is so much more than just a fun event; it is a testament to our deep commitment to engaging holistically with the development of our medical students.
Through this program, a small group of medical sciences students will be selected to share their story and experiences with our growing network.
Constantine Kanakis scored an academic hat trick in May with a conference presentation, journal publication, and national medical student award.

Clinical students, faculty, and alumni came together Saturday, May 12 to explore emerging issues in clinical medicine at AUC’s Northeast Regional Symposium, held at the Doral Arrowwood Resort in Rye Brook, NY.
Students who participated in AUC’s Community Action Day at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) were recently honored for their volunteer work in Preston.
AUC celebrated new students of the May 2022 Class during a White Coat Ceremony on Monday, May 7. Faculty members bestowed news students with their very first white coat--a symbol of their future profession in medicine.
