Growing up in East Meadow, NY, Athanasios “Tommy” Tzaras, MD, ’18 spent his childhood and much of his young adulthood at his father’s side laboring on construction sites throughout New York City and Long Island.
American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) has been granted continued accreditation by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM) for the maximum accreditation period of six years through 2027.
A Clinical Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr. Sharif has spent the last several months intimately working on the immigration crisis, helping to evaluate and support the children of families seeking asylum in the United States.
