The AUC Faculty Senate and the Black Medical Student Association are teaming up to launch the “YOUR VOTE MATTERS” initiative to make the process of voting in the next United States Presidential Election on November 3, 2020 as easy and stress-free as possible for eligible AUC medical and clinical sciences students, staff, and faculty.
Whether you are on-island in Sint Maarten, currently living in your home state or another US location, the YOUR VOTE MATTERS team will help eligible members of the AUC community register to vote, cast your vote in person or apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot. The team will host four, 30-minute Training Workshops on Wednesday, July 22 or Friday, July 24, at either 9 AM AST or 4 PM AST to learn how to navigate the vote.org website to suit your voting needs. Zoom invites will be forthcoming.
Look out in the coming weeks for announcements and reminders in the AUC News and our social media platforms. To get a head start on your voting needs, check out vote.org. Please email YOURVOTEMATTERS@aucmed.edu if you have questions.
