This medical school scholarship has a lifetime value of $15,000 and is awarded to students who have a solid overall undergraduate GPA or MCAT score. This scholarship is automatically awarded to qualified, incoming first-semester AUC students only. (Note: Previously awarded amounts for current or accepted students will not change).

- Allocation of scholarship money is spread out evenly between academic semesters 1–10 of the MD program, with a maximum lifetime value of $15,000.

This does not impact the lifetime maximum of the scholarship. Any remaining amount from the award would be carried forward until the lifetime maximum is met.

Graduates of The American University in Dubai will be considered - Start AUC Application
This full tuition and administrative fees scholarship is awarded to qualified applicants who are citizens or permanent residents of Sint Maarten. Up to four of these medical school scholarships can be awarded per academic year and are awarded in the order of the applicant’s acceptance to AUC.

- Citizens or permanent residents of the country of St. Maarten
- Incoming first-semester students and eligible transfer students
- Hold an undergraduate degree (bachelor’s level)
- Hold an offer of admission to AUC
- If a transfer student is accepted, granted advanced standing, and scholarship-eligible, that student’s maximum award amount is dependent on his/her semester of placement and the lifetime maximum award will be prorated.

- This scholarship covers all tuition and administrative fees costs, so long as the recipients maintain satisfactory grades throughout their enrollment at AUC.

The Step UP to Success award at AUC was created to support Pre-Step 1 students in their preparation for and success in the USMLE® Step 1 exam and clinical rotations. The award offers a minimum grant of $17,750 with a maximum grant of up to $31,750 possible by achieving key academic milestones.
Eligibility:
- AUC Pre-step 1 students registered for the Medical Sciences Capstone (“Capstone”) elective course in the September 2024 semester.
- Students registered for the Capstone elective course in September 2024 will receive this award at the minimum level of $17,000 structured as follows:
- $14,000 in tuition discount to be applied against tuition costs for Capstone in the September 2024 semester.
- A housing grant of $3,000 to be used towards housing expenses in the September 2024 semester. The housing grant is valid only for the September 2024 semester and is non-transferable.
- A non-transferable flight credit of $750.
Award escalator:
- A student enrolled in AUC’s Capstone program with the Step up to Success grant AND who:
- On completion of Capstone, passes the practice CBSE with a score of 65 or higher, and
- Takes and passes the step one exam in one attempt within 4 months of completing capstone and
- Begins clinical rotations no longer than 60 days after the passing step one score is received by AUC;
shall be awarded an additional $14,000 in scholarships to be spread evenly across the clinical semesters, six through ten.
The escalator defined above is stackable with the minimum award and can yield a maximum award of $31,750.

A student enrolled in this grant who:
- Does not achieve the escalator will be awarded $17,000 in total value.
- Who achieves the escalator will be awarded 17 + 14 = $31,000

The AUC Student Engagement Award recognizes students whose activities as part of the campus community have helped to enhance and foster the AUC culture of collaboration.

- A GPA of 2.8 or higher in all AUC pre-requisite courses

This one-time $9,500 USD scholarship is awarded to students who are referred to AUC by The Princeton Review Canada.
Eligibility Requirements

- Minimum score of 490 on the MCAT, or equivalent score on the UCAT, NEET, or GAMSAT

This medical education scholarship has a lifetime value of $45,000 and is awarded to students who have a solid overall undergraduate GPA or MCAT score. This scholarship is automatically awarded to qualified, incoming first-semester AUC students only. (Note: Previously awarded amounts for current or accepted students will not change).

- Minimum undergraduate overall GPA of 3.70* or a minimum MCAT score of 510 (current version of the MCAT)
- Hold an offer of admission to AUC as a first-semester student

- Allocation of scholarship money is spread out evenly between academic semesters 1–10 of the MD program, with a maximum lifetime value of $45,000.
- In the event the total tuition assessed is less than the scheduled semester award amount of all eligible scholarships, the total semester award is prorated to match the total tuition assessed for the term. This does not impact the lifetime maximum of the scholarship. Any remaining amount from the award would be carried forward until the lifetime maximum is met.

This one-time $9,500 USD is awarded to eligible students referred by Vida who successfully complete the Medical Education Readiness Program (MERP).
